We’ve got a bunch of stuff done this week, but mostly: People have been returning! Garin popped up a bit more frequently, as well as RAAAAAAAIIIGEEE. Myri finally got off her City of Heroes kick and found her residence back into Vana’diel, as did Kigeca and Zaryph. And one of the more exciting returns is that of Biri!

We had an amazing alliance in the Dunes, ending up with 16 people in the sandy beaches fighting lizards and goblins and sheep, oh my! It all started when an un-named smartass Tarutaru telling Raige about skills and crap (or lack there of) under level sync, then going ahead and camp on top of us. Even went as far as calling us noobs, when he couldn’t even lead his party to do anything, besides having the NIN-tank die. He promptly ditched them to solo his Ranger and left to their own devices, their new leader Rickyorton asked if we wanted to alliance with them. I told everyone in vent to do it. Crazy shit. It’d be awesome.

And so it began, the alliance in the dunes, with a few close calls at first! But after I hit 23 on my summoner, I went to Selbina and left the alliance in order to powerlevel the crew with Granas. Much fun was had and screenshots will follow in the gallery soon!

I also got my Carbuncle Mitts thanks to Ravencroft, Kadia, Segan and Eruainur. Also thanks to Sooraya, Raige and my good non-LS bard-buddy Malkier in helping to try and farm a Prelate Key. (Not to mention buff up a 1.5k Raging Rush for Sooraya! So proud!) :D

More crazy things: SMN Astral Flow burn. Nuuuuuuts! Rashaa tried to set this up for the longest time, when I decided to just f*ck it and train Korroloka Tunnel himself on RDM. The first attempt didn’t go too well, and the second try was a bit disappointing. But it likely had to do with the low level we synced to. Next time, we’ll have to attempt this at at least 15! The following day, 4 lone summoners in the linkshell decided to take on Qufim and ran into an even lonier Bard. The five of them SMN burned the island, were joined by Eruainur and went through 4 levels!

At least I did. SMN27 {Please check it}!

During this run, we ran into a lonely samurai named Reirah and requested a linkpearl. She had trouble finding a party and was tired of playing alone. ::cue the crowd going “awwwww ; ;”:: As a welcome, we took her to the dunes and cleared a FoV run, only to move back to….Qufim. Sooraya would’ve been proud of me, tanking with MNK sub and all. After she got a level, monsters became too weak and we travelled to Yuhtunga Jungle. Mandragoras were a lot tougher than the Snippers and the Pugils, but fun was to be had with the group. We almost managed to erase the mental image of Raige running around Qufim in subligar.

….damnit.
