Ladies and Gentlemen of The Hyozan Legacy. As you know I have taken my leave of Final Fantasy XI for a short-time period so I can get through my classes, and financial issues with the game’s funds. Due to my absence, I shall appoint Katamatoo and Danta as the leaders of the event for the time being.
I also apologize for the extreme lateness of this post. I’ve been running around and stuff what with the Nacho Roast and the event this past 4th of July and I just found the time to do this.

Because I don’t remember 90% of what happened that evening, allow me to just give credit and the runes numbers to those who participated.

There are no runes recorded from Luca down to Bella. However Sigmund obtained Maze Rune #017 and Ravencroft obtained Maze Rune #040. Other than those two, we left empty handed.

Danta was the only one recorded as a drop. He never did his run, but did a lot before he left.

Again I am sorry for the lateness of this post. Three Week late is not what I wanted this to be.

Well we had a good 12 people for our 15th MMM event. Without further ado, here is the roster from Monday evening!

No runes dropped really. My run dropped 3 runes. Maze Rune 052, Maze Rune 087 and Maze Rune 053. That last rune was in my Special Coffer, but due to my inventory being filled to burst, I was unable to get it and seeing as I already had Monk, I was unable to stow it away.

As for problems during the event, only one can be noted. Eru’s run ended with a wipe. Nothing else really went wrong. Don’t worry Eru, next time will be better!

Continuing on to Drop outs, we move over to Granas. After a mysterious disappearance after Bella’s run, we didn’t hear a word from him from the rest of the night. As for Add-ins, after Bella joined up at the Lower Jeuno Chocobo Stables during Katama’s run, Sigmund and Granas showed up to join us. A little while after 8:00PM EST, Cressidia logged on and joined us followed by Ravencroft and Danta soon after.

If there is anything I left out, please send me a /tell or a PM with the information I left out and I’ll gladly edit this!

Before I go into yet another late update, please bare with me for a very important notice.

Starting June 29, 2009 through August 8, 2009 I will be unable to make it in time for the Moblin Maze Mondays Event. My reason is because I have an English class from 6:15PM to 9:30PM EST. Because Katamatoo has Dynamis with is other LS on Odin, I ask that Katamatoo setup and prepare the night before my arrival. This new system will continue until December 21, 2009 when Fall Semester ends for the rest of 2009. 2010’s schedule is unknown to me at this time, and another notice will be announced when I get more information.

And now for the update!

The order was as follows:

Due to a previously planned engagement, Raige was unable to do his run, but was able to get a taste of Moblin Maze Mondays. Another member, Leylia, didn’t do his run but tried it out and enjoyed it very much! Hope to see you in the mix next time~! Some late arrivals include Cressidia and Belladiel. Damn you work and driving school~!

Going into the Runes we received, Danta got Maze Rune 052, and Cressidia got the Maze Rune 096! Unfortunately no other drops were had, but hey! Next time guys!

The only thing I can say that hindered our success last monday was Tamtu’s double elemental run. Ice Elementals right before Light Elementals…not good. This run ended in failure, but did that discourage Tamtu? Nope! He participated in yet another, right after!

Speaking of which, for those who haven’t yet, and have the Marbles to spend, you should look into buying Mob-Control Runes. I call them this because they make sure Elementals don’t show up. Having multiple of them in one Tabula can ensure a variety of mobs, but remember not to put to many. This doesn’t apply for the Maze Voucher #03. This Voucher will get messed up and do random mobs if two or more Mob Control Runes are chosen. For 100 Marbles you can buy Maze Rune 001, Maze Rune 002, and Maze Rune 003. For 200 Marbles you can get Maze Rune 004, Maze Rune 005, Maze Rune 006, and Maze Rune 007, and for 300 Marbles you can get Maze Rune 008 and Maze Rune 009.

One more note for you all. I have some help now with the updates. Danta will be making sure that these updates get done on time. So he’ll be helping out when he can. Thanks Danta~!

I really need to stop doing this with my updates. Could get Tamtu upset! At anyrate, hey everyone, I apologize for being a week late, I had a lot on my plate what with school, pool cleaning, yard work, and getting BLM to a nice comfortable AF weapon level getting level. Without further ado, here we go!

The roster for last monday was as follows:

We had some pretty successful runs that night with some Rune drops. Tamtu got a Maze Rune 042 to drop on his run, Segan got a Maze Rune 052, Danta got a Maze Rune 056, and Zegg got a Maze Rune 039! For those who didn’t get any drops, we can try on June 1, 2009~!

Using a few of the same Vouchers as usual, we had Maze Vouchers 01, 02, and 03 used. On of these days I think I’ll get the Synthesis Voucher, Maze Voucher 04. Give it a whirl~! Anyone want to test it with me when I get the Voucher just give me a /tell or shout out to me on Ventrillo~!

Well this update sure was short. Katama did most of the data work because my Database was acting up. Oh well Microsoft…oh well…

While I’m supposed to recap last night’s MMM run, I have to say, “There wasn’t one!”

Yes, it does seem that this Monday was most inconvenient for some. Maybe some thought it was over. Maybe some had more important things to do. Maybe some had some farming or other things they wanted to do. Don’t worry though because this was bound to happen. Not to say that it was a bad thing. I’d just like to take this time to broadcast a reminder to everyone in case some people forgot or otherwise.

• MMMs starts at 6:30 to 7:00 PM EST
• We gather together at 6:00 to 6:30 PM EST at Lower Jeuno’s Chocobo Stables.
• Have your Tabulas ready and when you get to the rendezvous point you can customize your runes to your heart’s content. Or do it before hand!
• Once we get everyone together we do our roll to see what the order we will have. This is usually done at 7:00PM EST.

And thats just about it. The reason for the time to be so “Perfect” is because on an average Monday Night it takes us from 6:00PM to 12:00AM. To start any later would spell total devastation on my sleep and I like to sleep!

Also, a question was brought to my attention an hour before we were supposed to start. Basically stating that I canceled further MMMs because of the loss of a LS member. This is not true. The loss of Hileict didn’t indicate a loss of this wonderful event. Of course I’m not saying that a lot of people thought this, just a small few. I assure you that the event is still on!

Lastly, I’d like to remind everyone that this isn’t a members only event. If you’ve never done this event doesn’t mean you’re not welcome! As a matter of fact, you are all invited to join us. If you’ve never done it and are not too sure about it, come check it out.

We need to stop having such good runs because all I say every update is, “What a great night,” and that is exactly what Monday night was.
We had a guest come in from another LS, but participation will only be allowed if he is in Hyozan for more than just Mondays. Now without further ado, let the update begin~!

On request before starting, Zetra went first due to homework only to return back later on in the night. Hileict’s run, to my knowledge was never done and he skipped out. Granas also left the event early for personal reasons left unexplained. Katsukora, due to a minor FFXI error, had to reinstall the game, and he missed the event entirely. Next monday Katsu~!

The Rune drops, well, My database decided to crap out this morning and glitched causing all but one runner’s Rune list to dissappear. The only Rune that was logged was Zetra’s run. She recieved the Maze Rune 045. Congradulations to her and the other runners who got Runes. I apologize for the glitch everyone.

The Maze Vouchers were basically the same as last monday. The only minor change that I have logged is the new Tabula I got: Maze Tabula 02. This tabula has the Elements of Light, Thunder, Fire, and Wind.

Before I end this post, may I say that Katama did an amazing job tanking Monday night. Congrats on Zero deaths too! The only death we had went to Cressidia. Also, we unfortunately (to my knowledge) had no screenshots for this Monday. Lastly on a personal note, I give my most humble apologies for being late on the blog post 2 times in a row.

Sorry about the lateness on this post, but without further ado, allow me to announce the 10th MMM post~!

Our Roster for the night was:

For the runes last night we had drops for Cressidia, Zetra, and Belladeil (To my knowledge this was it). Cressidia got Maze Rune 042, Zetra got Maze Rune 081, and Belladiel got Maze Rune 043, which I unfortunately, due to sleep deprivation, lotted on and got by mistake. To make up for this mistake, the next time I get a rune, I will pass it to Belladiel.

Most of the runs went very well except for Granas’ run and Hileict’s run (To my current knowledge). Granas’ run was incompleted due to Time Out. They had an unfortunate encounter with elementals and it slowed them down too much. But they were almost finished with the run so it almost went through. Hileict’s run on the other hand, killed everyone once again. Not that that is a bad thing, but this is Run #3 that killed us. Other than that, I believe the rest of the runs went quite well!

To my knowledge, we had a few different Vouchers again instead of the usual Voucher #01. We had my Voucher #03, we had a few Voucher #02s and a few #01s. Sigmund, after having two failed attempts at Voucher #06, he decided to play it safe and do a Voucher #01 instead.

As for Levels, I don’t recall any level ups during the event. Maybe after I left, which was quite strange for me to do.

Thanks for another wonderful Monday evening everybody! I hope you had a lot of fun last night because I know I did! Let’s dive right into the matter shall we? The following table is a formatted view of the Database as seen in Microsoft Access 2007. If I was still using notebook paper, I would have been messed up to no end after Bella’s roll. Her roll took her from last place to first. Thank the goddess for Databases!

Before I begin the Rune Section, may I add a Welcome to Granas! A very good friend from my old LS will be joining us for at least 3 months. That being said, because of his 1.5 year absence this was his very first Moblin Maze Monday ever! Welcome to the crew Granas~!

Now let’s dash on in to the Rune Section of today’s update! Starting from first to last our Rune drops for this Monday were: Maze Rune 038 (Katamatoo), Maze Rune 092 (Danta), Maze Rune 017 (Granas), and Maze Rune 043 (Kaixy). Congratulations to you guys~!
Unfortunately My run, as well as Hileict’s and Sigmund’s didn’t get finished. Which now brings us to-

The Mazes we did on this wonderful Monday!
Last night we had 3 vouchers to sink our teeth into: Voucher 01, Voucher 02, and Voucher 06!

1. Voucher 01
Of course we know this is the default Voucher. You run through the maze and kill all monsters on all floors. Simple, eh? Eh, not really. ^^ No problems occured in these mazes as far as I’m aware of at the moment.
2. Voucher 02
We had some very interesting things go on inside these mazes. Hileict’s Maze somehow died and pretty much within about a minute we were all dead. Pretty fast Party Wipe if I do say so myself! Next was my Maze which was also Voucher 02. I had a psychotic combination, at least in my opinion. Using the Elemental Tabula #03. This Tabula has the elements of Dark, Earth, Ice, and Water. For my Maze I used Lost and Found, Trial by Velocity, Sustenance Contract, and for tonight’s Major challenge was Buffed Aquans (Maze Rune 001). The buff being the Aquan Rune was placed over the Water Elemental block. The Ice element was also used to heighten the pain. Needless to say, the second wave of Krakens killed us too. The other Voucher 02s were Danta, and Katsukora and I believe Katamatoo. Those runs did pretty well.
3. Voucher 06
The only one to use this Voucher was Sigmund. Basically we played a little Metal Gear Hyozan. A few deaths to be sure, but this maze was hard! True we might have died and never completed the maze, it was the highlight of the night! At least for me!

Another successful night for MMMs that ended in 4 Runes from 3 people last night, as well as some level ups! So congratulations to Katsukora for hitting level 48 Summoner and to Belladiel for hitting Level 73 Red Mage! And on, what I guess you could call a low note, we didn’t have as many people as I expected , but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun anyways! ^_^
